SEND Teaching Assistant – Primary SEN Resource Provision (SRP)Worcester, Kidderminster, Redditch, Bromsgrove, Droitwich £90–£110 per day | Full-time long-term (part-time available) Smile Education is recruiting SEND Teaching Assistants / SEN Teaching Assistants to join Primary School SEN Resource Provisions (SRPs) across the Worcestershire area. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a supportive, inclusive environment helping children with additional needs access learning and reach their potential. Role Overview You will provide targeted support to pupils across KS1 and KS2, working closely with teachers, SENCOs and specialist staff. The role involves delivering 1:1 support, small group interventions, and supporting children with a range of needs including:Autism (ASC)ADHDSEMHMental health needsEmotional regulationSchool avoidanceSpeech and language needsBehavioural challengesKey ResponsibilitiesProvide high-quality SEND support in a primary school settingSupport pupils to access the curriculum and engage in learningAssist with behaviour management and emotional regulationSupport pupils with communication and speech & language needsWork collaboratively with teaching staff and external professionalsPromote a calm, inclusive, and nurturing environmentRequirementsLevel 3 Teaching Assistant qualificationor relevant SEN qualification (preferred)Experience working in SEND or SEN settings, SRPs, or mainstream primary schoolsStrong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationshipsPatient, resilient, and child-centred approachAbility to support pupils with complex needs, including behavioural and SEMH needsSalary & Benefits£80–£110 per day(depending on experience and qualifications)Long-term, stable placementsFull-time roles with potential part-time options depending on pupil needsSupportive consultants and ongoing professional guidanceOpportunity to work in excellent SEN provisions and primary schoolsSafeguarding & Compliance Smile Education is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
