Context & Impact Lansweeper is evolving its engineering organization toward an AI‑native development model, and we’re looking for AI‑Native Senior Software Engineers who combine strong software engineering fundamentals with the ability to work effectively in an AI‑augmented workflow.Your mission: build and own reliable, scalable systems in an environment where code is cheap, but correctness, architecture, and long‑term quality matter more than ever. You will use AI as a force multiplier—not a shortcut—ensuring that speed never compromises engineering rigor.You will work in a modern cloud‑native stack: Golang, Node.js, Kubernetes, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and GitHub‑based CI/CD.What You’ll Tackle The main challenges you’ll face:Maintaining engineering rigor, architectural clarity, and system quality in an AI‑assisted development environment Scaling distributed systems while balancing performance, reliability, and simplicity Keeping multiple AI‑accelerated development streams coherent and aligned with long‑term architecture Exercising judgment and autonomy in an environment with high ambiguity and rapid iterationKey Responsibilities Design and build maintainable, scalable, observable, and well‑tested systems Operate in an AI‑augmented workflow: decompose problems, guide AI tools, review AI‑generated output, and enforce production‑grade quality Own technical decisions, ensuring that AI‑generated code aligns with architectural direction and long‑term system health Contribute to architecture design, system evolution, and cross‑team technical strategies Apply strong systems thinking across data models, APIs, distributed systems, and service boundaries Produce clear design proposals, technical documentation, and structured prompts that improve collaboration between engineers and AI systems Work with a high degree of autonomy, making decisions under uncertainty and driving initiatives to completionKey Requirements Hard Skills Strong foundation in software engineering fundamentals (testing, version control, CI/CD, code review) Proven experience designing and building backend or distributed systems Solid understanding of data modeling, APIs, and service‑oriented architectures Experience designing reliable and scalable systems in production Practical experience using AI tools for coding, refactoring, testing, and documentation Strong programming skills in Golang and Node.js 8+ years of cloud‑native backend engineering experience Hands‑on expertise running services on Kubernetes with GitHub-based CI/CD Strong experience with PostgreSQL and MongoDBSoft Skills We value engineers who:Are curious, adaptable, and proactive Learn new tools and technologies quickly Think in systems rather than isolated components Prefer simple solutions over unnecessary complexity Take ownership of engineering quality and long‑term maintainability Combine human judgment with AI‑driven acceleration to deliver high‑quality software Operate with a high degree of autonomy, especially when requirements are vague or evolvingOn‑Call Expectations This role may include participating in an on‑call rotation, planned in advance and compensated.
