Warehouse & Logistics Assistant

As a Warehouse &Logistics Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting our day-to-day warehouse and internal logistics operations. This is a hands-on position where you ensure that materials and products are handled efficiently, accurately, and safely across the organization.Working closely with warehouse, production and engineering teams, you help make sure everything is in the right place at the right time, enabling smooth operations and reliable product delivery.At Optics11, we are building one of Europe’s most exciting deep-tech scale-up environments, developing advanced fiber optic sensing technology that protects critical infrastructure across underwater security, energy, and industrial applications.What will you do:Receive, unpack, store, pick, pack, and ship goodsLoad and unload incoming and outgoing deliveriesMove materials within the warehouse and between departments, including supporting production with timely material availabilityEnsure proper storage, labeling, and organization of all materialsMaintain a clean, safe, and well-organized warehouse environmentRecord inventory movements accurately in the system and support cycle counts and stock checksHelp investigate and resolve inventory discrepanciesPrepare shipments, including packing, labeling, and supporting shipping documentationCoordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth and timely outbound deliveriesRespond to urgent material requests when neededFollow safety procedures and ensure proper handling of equipment and materialsMaintain accurate records where requiredWhy Join UsJoin one of Europe’s most promising deep-tech scale-upsCompetitive salary and benefits packageEnjoy regular team activities and company eventsFresh team lunches provided 3 times/ weekWhat we are looking forExperience2–4 years of experience in warehouse and/or logistics operationsExperience with physical handling, packing, and moving goodsFamiliarity with inventory systems or ERP is a plusSkillsHands-on and practical mindsetAccurate, structured, and well-organizedReliable and able to work independentlyTeam-oriented with a proactive attitudeBasic computer skills (e.g. Excel, ERP systems)Nice to haveExperience in a manufacturing or technical environmentForklift certificate or willingness to obtain oneWe do not provide work permit or relocation support, therefore, we are only able to consider candidates who are already residing in the Netherlands and have valid work authorization.More information So now you know we're doing awesome projects and if you see you fit the profile we would like to get to know you.
