Your New Role
  • Lead crews of 2 to 10 electricians on commercial electrical projects in Austin, Texas and within a 30-mile radius

  • Oversee daily jobsite operations, productivity, and safety practices

  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications for accurate installations

  • Ensure all work meets NEC standards and local electrical codes

  • Plan and organize daily and weekly crew schedules

  • Coordinate manpower and assess crew performance

  • Complete material takeoffs and ensure timely delivery of materials

  • Communicate with project managers, site supervisors, and field teams

  • Use project management software such as Procore to track progress and documentation

  • Valid Texas Journeyman Electrician License issued by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation

  • At least 2 years of hands-on commercial electrical experience

  • 6 to 12 months of lead journeyman or job-running responsibility preferred

  • Proven ability to lead crews and manage commercial jobsites

  • Strong knowledge of NEC and local electrical codes

  • Experience with manpower planning, scheduling, and time management

  • Familiarity with material takeoffs and jobsite coordination

  • Experience using Procore or similar construction management software preferred

  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
