We are looking for an Accountantto join our mission to create a #CyberFit future and protect all data, applications, and systems across any environment. We are seeking a skilled Accountant to join our team, reporting directly to the Finance Manager for EMEA. The ideal candidate will have a strong command of local Swiss accounting and tax regulations, advanced proficiency in English, and native fluency in German. This role involves overseeing the accounting and tax compliance of our Swiss subsidiary, ensuring accuracy and adherence to all relevant regulations. WHAT YOU'LL DO Monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing of the entity based in Switzerland, including trend analysis and balance sheet reconciliation Preparation and filing of VAT returns Preparation and filing of all tax returns Preparation of annual Statutory Financial statements Oversee internal and external communications (tax office, banks, auditors, consultants) Oversee Accounts payable and check payments Responsible for the controlling of the Swiss entity Assist in the development of internal reporting and ad hoc analysis as required WHAT YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS) 5+ years of accounting experience in a similar environment German as a native language is a must Professional Microsoft Excel and ERP knowledge Strong Background with Swiss Local Code, Swiss GAAP standards, and US GAAP is a plus High level of discipline, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment while still maintaining a high level of accuracy Strong written, and verbal communication and interpersonal skills Outstanding organizational, problem-solving, and multi-tasking skills Team player with a positive attitude, willing to go the extra mile and help out, sees challenges as opportunities Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work with minimal supervision Management experience is a plus Passion and commitment to succeed by working hard and never giving up *Please submit your resume and application in English WHO WE ARE Acronis is a global cyber protection company that provides natively integrated cybersecurity, data protection, and endpoint management for managed service providers (MSPs), small and medium businesses (SMBs), enterprise IT departments and home users.
