Mission: The mission of the Data Engineering team is to create maximum business value to our clients by storing, organizing, transmitting and processing the information collected by our drones. We prioritize reliability and scalability, building sturdy solutions that empower real-time insights and operational effectiveness. As leaders in our field, we mentor team members and enforce coding standards, cultivating a culture of innovation and excellence. Your role: Develop and maintain the data pipeline that feeds data from drones to the cloud Create infrastructure and code (ETLs) to process a large amount of data and generate business value Proactively work on making the pipeline more future proof, scalable and robust Develop and maintain the pipeline to commission the cloud infrastructure (IaC, CI/CD) Improve our culture, tools and processes to boost developer satisfaction Provide mentoring and technical guidance to other colleagues Improve visibility and understanding of the data pipeline within the company Your experience: Degree (BSc, MSc) in computer science, software engineering, or relevant field 5+ years of professional hands-on experience in software engineering Excellent knowledge of modern C++ and Python Excellent knowledge of AWS cloud technologies (Lambda, SNS, SQS) Excellent knowledge of database systems (DocumentDB, RDS) Strong working knowledge of IaC, specifically Terraform Familiarity with agile working principles Additional plus:Experience with JIRA and ConfluenceKnowledge of Git and code collaboration tools ( Gerrit or Gitlab) Who you are: A versatile team player with a strong problem-solving acumen, adept at collaborating effectively while also possessing the capability to work independently.
