Job Title: Senior Data Analyst
Location: Hybrid / Remote (Somerset, South Africa)

Your Responsibilities:
- Analyse large datasets of product telemetry data to provide insights that drive improvements in our ML and AI solutions as well as guide product development and business decisions.
- Create and maintain intuitive self-service dashboards, reports and visualisations to communicate insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Identify data quality issues, collection gaps, and opportunities for new data sources that could improve model performance or dashboard utility.
- Prepare structured product performance summaries for cross functional retention and product improvement meetings.
Your Story:
We'd love to hear from you if you bring:
- 6+ years of handson experience in data analysis, ideally within cyber security, detection data, or threat telemetry environments.
- Hands-on experience in data analysis using SQL, Python or R. With a track record of deriving actionable insights from complex datasets.
- Experience generating and maintaining dashboards, specifically using Streamlit (python), Shiny (R), or similar code-based dashboarding tools.
- Experience performing comprehensive Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA) to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in complex datasets. Having worked with an ML team in this capacity is a strong plus.
- A strong SQL background, with the ability to write complex queries to extract and manipulate data efficiently. Experience with data warehousing solutions (e.g., Snowflake) is a plus.
- A talent for interpreting complex issues and communicating them clearly to technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
- Experience performing experiments to validate hypotheses. Using machine learning/ statistical analysis where necessary is a plus.
- Comfort operating within cross functional engineering, product, or customer environments.
It's a bonus (not a requirement) if you also have:
- Experience with BI tools (Snowflake, Looker, Tableau).
- Knowledge of phishing behaviours and attacker evasion techniques.
- Exposure to security tooling in the IT channel or MSSP ecosystem.
