Are you a Quantity Surveyor looking to take the next step in your career with a dynamic and progressive engineering company?Rockwell is currently in a phase of significant growth and we are currently looking for a Quantity Surveyor who has had exposure to both mechanical and electrical disciplines to be working on a largescale project in Co.Cork Duties and Responsibilities:You will be responsible for the full management, budget, estimating through construction to final accounts of Electrical projects of various sizes.Make sure that all contractual requirements are met and offer guidance and oversight to the construction team in relation to this.Capability to identify potential commercial risks and ensure prompt reporting of same to management.Review and update monthly progress reports to accurately reflect remeasurements, site variations, additional work, and any claims.Manage subcontractor accounts from initial award to interim valuation, variations, and final account.Managing and forecasting of turnover and cash flow of the projectsEvaluating and overseeing the commercial aspects of all projects to ensure accurate and trustworthy reporting.Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and new technologies affecting Electrical and Mechanical systems. Essential Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills Experience:Relevant 3rd level qualification in Quantity Surveying,Have a minimum of 2 years' experience as a quantity surveyor within the construction industry, with exposure to mechanical or electrical projectsHave strong commercial awarenessPrevious experience working with an M&E Contractor is favourable.Be comfortable in your use of Microsoft Office, with the ability to generate detailed monthly reports.Have a positive attitude with a passion to learn & succeed, an energetic approach and an ability to take accountability Why join Rockwell?We provide a competitive salary that reflects your experience and qualifications.
