We are recruiting for the role of Bar Tender to join our bar and restaurant team on a Full Time basis in the Cork International Hotel.If you love working in a guest facing role, engaging with our guests, do your best work as part of a tight knit team, and relish the challenge of a buzzing environment then this role is for you.Key ResponsibilitiesServe hot and cold beverages and food in a professional, polite, and friendly manner.Prepare and maintain the bar area to ensure it is clean, organised, and ready for service.Stock and restock the bar according to company procedures.Operate the till system and handle cash and card transactions accurately.Keep the bar counter, tables, and service areas clean and tidy at all times.Clear empty glasses and bottles promptly and maintain a clean environment for guests.Assist with receiving and organising stock deliveries.Help prepare and display food service areas in the bar when required. Provide excellent customer service and respond to guest requests or concerns professionally.Report any guest complaints or issues to a supervisor or manager.Health, Safety & StandardsMaintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in all bar areas.Follow all health and safety procedures, including fire and emergency procedures.Serve alcohol responsibly and follow all relevant legislation, including age verification.Ensure the safety of guests, colleagues, and yourself while on duty.Help maintain the bar environment, including cleanliness, lighting, and furniture arrangement.Team & DevelopmentAttend training sessions, staff meetings, and development programmes when required.Work closely with the team to ensure smooth daily operations.Follow instructions and support management with any additional duties as required. The ideal candidate: 2+ years' experience in a similar role.
