How the role will make an impact: We are seeking an experienced hands-on Project Manager with a background in business and IT change to lead cross-functional projects from concept through to closure and lessons learnt. The ideal candidate will manage timelines, budgets, resources and stakeholder communication. The role will cover a wide range of projects including IT, Operational, Commercial etc. and will involve the management of a number of projects concurrently.Main Tasks & Responsibilities:Lead end-to-end project management for business change, M&A and IT projects.Develop detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocations.Coordinate cross-functional teams including Engineering, Production, Warehousing, Quality, IT, Supply Chain, Maintenance and Finance.Monitor project progress, identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.Manage vendor relationships where required for the successful delivery of the project.Track KPIs and provide regular status reports to senior leadership.Ensure the stakeholders are engaged with the project and kept informed noting that these may be senior leadership within the business.Lead project meetings and maintain clear communication among all stakeholders.Ensure projects are closed effectively and lessons learnt are captured.Ensure projects meet the governance standards set out by the PMO.Key Skills:Bachelor's degree in business, IT or another relevant field is preferred.Proven experience of project management experience in a manufacturing environment including IT and business change projects.Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules and cross-functional teams.Certified in Prince2, Prosci and Agile is preferred.Benefits:Competitive Salary 25 days holiday plus bank holidaysHoliday purchase schemePension match up to 7%4 x Salary Life Assurance Enhanced Maternity, Paternity, Adoption and Shared Parental LeaveEmployee Assistance ProgrammeCycle to Work Scheme Free Eye TestsSubsidised CanteenVolunteering and Team Building DaysAbout Us:We are not just another manufacturing company; we are part of something bigger!We are Quanex, a global, publicly traded manufacturing company serving OEMs in the fenestration, hardware, cabinetry, solar, refrigeration, security, and outdoor products markets.Our mission is to positively impact our customers, employees and shareholders and put them at the centre of everything we do, through innovation technology and best-in-class customer service.Health & Safety Responsibilities:At Quanex, the health and safety of our employees are our top priorities.
