Applications from candidates outside the EU cannot be considered for this assignment.About the RoleOur client is seeking a highly experienced Senior Project & Turnaround Manager to lead the recovery and transformation of several critical digital initiatives across Digital Commerce and Digital Customer Experience.This role is suited for a seasoned leader with extensive experience managing large-scale, complex international programs and successfully turning around challenged projects. The successful candidate will work closely with executive stakeholders, business teams, enterprise architecture, vendors, and delivery organizations to stabilize delivery, improve operational effectiveness, and drive strategic transformation initiatives.The environment is global, multicultural, and technologically complex, requiring strong leadership, resilience, and the ability to influence across multiple management layers.Key ResponsibilitiesProgram & Turnaround ManagementLead turnaround and recovery efforts for failing projects and programsDrive delivery governance, accountability, and execution across multiple initiativesManage large-scale global programs involving distributed and intercultural teamsOperate effectively in hybrid delivery environments combining classic and agile methodologiesImprove project execution standards, including reporting, testing, governance, and delivery processesCoordinate across three management layers to ensure timely and high-quality deliverySteer Enterprise and Solution Architecture alignment throughout implementationsDigital Commerce TransformationImprove and streamline digital sales strategies and sales processesAlign and optimize the digital commerce technology landscapeOversee initiatives related to:ConfiguratorsPricing systemsQuotation platformsDigital sales platformsIntroduce and improve application performance monitoring capabilitiesEnhance operational effectiveness within the “Business as Usual” organizationDigital Customer ExperienceDrive initiatives to unify digital customer experiences across platformsOversee integration and consolidation of multiple customer portalsGuide implementation oversight for Adobe Experience Manager initiativesEnsure alignment between business objectives and customer-facing digital solutionsRequired Experience & Qualifications15+ years of experience managing complex global programs and projectsProven experience in turnaround management and recovering failing initiativesStrong background in Digital Commerce and Digital Customer Experience programsExperience within B2B industrial or production environments (non-B2C)Demonstrated ability to influence senior business stakeholders and external vendorsStrong strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilitiesExperience steering globally distributed teams in complex matrix organizationsHigh level of resilience, ownership, and execution focusDesired SkillsStrategy development and transformation leadershipVendor and partner managementStrong communication and stakeholder management skillsAbility to establish structure and improve ways of workingExperience balancing operational and strategic prioritiesTechnology & ToolingRequired / Preferred ExposureMicrosoft Office SuiteAzure DevOps (ADO) – user-level knowledge preferredTest management tools such as ADO or Panaya – preferredSAP – strong conceptual understandingSalesforce.com – strong conceptual understandingMuleSoft (ETL) – strong conceptual understandingUnderstanding of configurator, pricing, and quotation systemsContract DetailsStart Date: June 1, 2026End Date: March 31, 2027Duration: 9 monthsLocation: 100% RemoteTravel: Occasional onsite meetings in ZurichInterested?If you are an experienced transformation leader with a track record of stabilizing complex programs and driving digital transformation in global B2B environments, we would like to hear from you.
