The role
We are seeking a Data Analyst with strong experience in Power BI and a solid background in UI/UX design principles. The ideal candidate combines analytical rigor with a user-centered mindset, transforming complex data into intuitive, visually compelling dashboards and insights that support data-driven decision-making across the organization.
This role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams to ensure analytical solutions are both accurate and easy to use.
Key responsibilities
Data Analysis and Business Intelligence
- Translate business requirements into analytical models, metrics, and KPIs.
- Working closely with Data Engineers to validate data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across multiple sources.
- Support ad-hoc analysis requests and strategic decision-making initiatives.
Power BI Development
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI reports and dashboards.
- Build efficient data models.
- Apply best practices for security, including row-level security (RLS).
- Manage publication and versioning of dashboards.
UI/UX and Data Visualization
- Apply UI/UX principles to create intuitive, user-friendly dashboards.
- Design visual layouts that improve data storytelling and usability.
- Conduct usability reviews and iterate dashboards based on user feedback.
- Ensure consistency in visual standards, branding, and design systems.
- Balance visual appeal with analytical clarity and performance.
Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement
- Work closely with business users to understand needs and translate them into analytical solutions.
- Collaborate with data engineers, developers, and designers on end‑to‑end data products.
- Document dashboards, data models, and metrics for transparency and reuse.
- Provide training or guidance to end users on dashboard usage and interpretation.
Requirements
Technical skills
- At least 4–5 years of experience as a Data Analyst or in equivalent roles within structured organisations.
- Strong hands-on experience with Power BI.
- Solid knowledge of DAX, Power Query, and data modeling concepts.
- Working knowledge of UI/UX principles, especially as applied to data visualization.
- Ability to communicate complex data insights clearly to non-technical audiences.
Nice to have
- Experience in regulated environments (pharmaceutical, life sciences, financial services).
- Experience with design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch.
- Familiarity with data visualization best practices and frameworks (e.g., storytelling with data).
- Understanding of ETL processes and data pipelines.
- Exposure to Agile or product-driven development environments.

- Good communication and presentation skills, including with non-technical stakeholders
