Motion Control Engineer / Software EngineerOur client is looking to strengthen their R&D Advanced Mechatronics and Motion Control team and is currently seeking engineers with strong software competence.
Role DescriptionAs a Motion Control Engineer, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and optimizing software solutions within the motion control domain. You will work in a research and development environment, collaborating closely with experts in mechatronics, control engineering, and software development to create high-performance and reliable solutions.
Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and optimize software for motion control applications
Work with real-time operating systems and embedded systems
Contribute to algorithm development and performance optimization
Collaborate in cross-functional R&D teams
Participate in design, implementation, testing, and troubleshooting of software solutions
Master’s degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Computer Science, Engineering Physics, Control Engineering, or a related field
Strong programming skills in C/C++, MATLAB, or Python
Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS) and embedded systems
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong communication and teamwork abilities
Fluent in English, both written and spoken (required)
Advanced experience in C# / .NET
Full stack development experience
Knowledge of system architecture and software design
Experience from industrial or advanced R&D environments
Swedish language skills
