We employ 25,000 people globally, more than half located in Asia Pacific.Role Summary:This position is for a Senior Software Engineer who will be accountable for the design and development of Real-Time library features that are used by customers to contribute or consume real time financial content. You will work with local/remote development team(s) to define software requirements, do technical design and implement software solutions. In this role, you should be able to work independently with little supervision. Your overall goal will be to develop high-quality software that is aligned with user needs and business goals.What You’ll Be Doing:Producing, testing and debugging code based on design of Real-Time library features in JavaDevelop software and associated documentation from specified requirementsProvide time & complexity estimates for given software feature implementationBuild unit tests for your code for best coverage and review QA test plans which exercise the changesIdentify, prioritize and complete tasks in a timely mannerDevelop and maintain tools and applications by producing clean, efficient code that follows open sourcing standardsAutomate tasks through appropriate tools and scriptingReview and debug codePerform validation and verification testingCollaborate with internal teams and vendors to fix and improve productsCollaborate with support to isolate issues in product and make fixesDocument development phases and monitor systemsEnsure software is up to date with the latest technologies and standardsWhat You’ll Bring:Must haveBachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent degree.
