With this job, you join the global team working on Fleet Solutions for the Americas. Main Responsibilities:Exposure to implementation design and develop using Java Spring Boot framework for current developments;Collaboration with front end team members for development of restful APIs;Collaboration with global team members in US and EU;Responsibility for development of test code / test scenarios ensuring high quality. Provide production support;Ability to efficiently debug and resolve technical issues;Compile technical documentation and user assistance material, requiring excellent written communication in English;Ensure continuous professional self-development;Follow Scrum/Agile methodologies to organize and plan projects;Embrace Continental’s core values: Trust, freedom to act, passion to win, for one another.QualificationsUniversity Degree in Computer Science, IT or related field;2 years of experience with Java programming (minimum);Experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, Eureka;Exposure to continuous integration tools such as Git, Jenkins, SonarQube;Experience with client-server applications and microservice architecture;Exposure to testing frameworks such as Junit, Mockito, Cucumber;Exposure to JavaScript frameworks such as Angular, AngularJS, JQuery, Karma testing framework is a plus;Experience with user interface design, database structures and statistical analyses is a plus;Ability to communicate effectively with a software development team members;Exposure to model data in relational database such as PostgreSQL;Analytical mindset and good problem-solving skills;Excellent written and verbal communication in English;Good organizational skills.Additional InformationOur offer:Integration in a challenging and international work environment;Flexible working model;Agile and collaborative working style;Continuous opportunities for the promotion of talent and training.
