As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will play a key role in designing and maintaining backend systems that power innovative financial solutions. You’ll be part of a dynamic and international team focused on delivering high-impact products through modern cloud architecture and agile collaboration. This is an opportunity to take ownership of backend services, influence technical direction, and contribute to a product that is transforming how business owners manage their operations. Accountabilities: Design, build, and maintain state-of-the-art backend APIs using Node.js and TypeScript. Contribute to a serverless infrastructure leveraging AWS Lambdas. Take ownership of backend services, ensuring they are scalable, secure, and maintainable. Work closely with product and engineering teams to deliver high-quality, impactful features. Ensure code quality through rigorous testing practices (unit and integration tests). Participate in architectural decisions and help define the technical roadmap. Minimum 3 years of experience developing APIs using Node.js and TypeScript. Proven expertise in delivering high-quality software through unit and integration testing (using Jest). Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices. Experience with AWS (especially serverless functions like AWS Lambda) is highly valued. Strong understanding of relational databases and third-party integrations. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
