Azure Infrastructure Engineer (Cloud & Data Platform)

Role Overview

We are seeking an Azure Infrastructure Engineer to design, implement, and manage secure, scalable cloud environments on Microsoft Azure. You’ll work across infrastructure, DevOps, and data platforms, supporting enterprise-grade solutions in a regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities

* Design and deploy Azure infrastructure using best practices and landing zones
* Build Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM, Bicep)
* Configure Azure networking (VNets, subnets, NSGs, private endpoints)
* Manage identity & access (Azure AD / Entra ID, RBAC, Key Vault)
* Implement governance and security (Azure Policies, compliance controls)
* Support Azure data platforms (ADF, Synapse, Databricks, ADLS)
* Develop CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps (YAML)
* Monitor systems using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Splunk
* Troubleshoot issues and support DR/BCP activities
* Maintain documentation (architecture, runbooks)

Required Skills

* Strong Azure infrastructure experience
* IaC: Terraform, ARM, or Bicep
* Azure networking and security fundamentals
* Experience with Azure data services
* CI/CD and scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python)
* Monitoring and troubleshooting skills
* Understanding of ITIL processes (e.g., ServiceNow)
