We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our team. The selected candidate will primarily work at the Telespazio Fucino Space Cente r, with opportunities for short- to medium-term assignments at other company or customer operational and engineering sites. The role focuses on ensuring the effective technical and operational use of systems within the Space Mission Ground Segment , across telecommunications, remote sensing, and/or navigation domains.
Responsibilities
Analyze system and operational requirements
Design, develop, and maintain software solutions
Manage software configuration and version control
Perform unit, integration, and end-to-end (E2E) system testing and validation
Ensure first- and second-level preventive and corrective maintenance for both software and hardware
Contribute to project documentation (e.g., manuals, architecture diagrams, user stories, test documentation)
Participate in technical reviews, progress meetings, and project discussions
