AI Services Policy
This policy explains how Eurojobs uses simple AI-assisted tools and structured matching support while keeping users responsible for reviewing outputs.
1. Purpose of AI-assisted tools
Eurojobs AI Services are designed to help users create, improve, parse, analyse, or review recruitment-related content. They support jobseekers and employers but do not replace human judgement.
2. Current AI-assisted tools
Current or planned AI-assisted tools may include CV upload parsing, CV/profile improvement suggestions, job advert creation, job advert analysis, job advert review, content suggestions, and similar writing or review support tools.
Some matching features may be grouped with intelligent services, but employer/jobseeker matching is primarily based on structured data, rules, scoring, search, skill comparison, and mathematical logic rather than a final AI hiring decision.
3. User control and review
AI-assisted tools are optional and advisory. Users choose whether to use them and must review, correct, approve, or reject outputs before saving, publishing, sending, applying, or relying on them.
AI output may be incomplete, inaccurate, unsuitable, biased, outdated, or legally insufficient. It should not replace human judgement, professional advice, legal advice, HR review, or compliance review where needed.
4. No automated hiring by Eurojobs
Eurojobs does not make final hiring decisions for employers and does not reject, hire, shortlist, interview, or select jobseekers solely through AI.
Employers remain responsible for lawful, fair, transparent, and non-discriminatory recruitment decisions.
5. Matching, scoring, and recommendations
Eurojobs may use profile completeness scores, CV quality indicators, job quality indicators, skill matches, location matches, education/experience comparisons, job alerts, saved preferences, and other structured data to support recommendations.
Match indicators and warnings are guidance only. A jobseeker may still choose to apply where the workflow allows, and employers must make their own assessment.
6. Data used for AI Services
When a user chooses an AI Service, relevant text such as CV content, job advert content, profile details, skills, requirements, or application-related text may be processed to generate the requested output.
Users should not submit unnecessary sensitive personal data, confidential third-party data, unlawful material, trade secrets, or information they do not have the right to use.
7. Sensitive and discriminatory content
Users must not use AI Services to generate discriminatory job criteria, unlawful exclusion rules, fake qualifications, misleading applications, fake jobs, harassment, scams, phishing, spam, or content that violates employment, equality, consumer, privacy, or advertising law.
8. Employer responsibilities
Employers must review AI-generated job adverts, screening questions, requirements, and candidate-related suggestions before use. Employers must ensure job criteria are lawful, relevant, proportionate, and not discriminatory.
9. Jobseeker responsibilities
Jobseekers must review AI-generated CV text, cover letters, profile improvements, or application materials before using them. Jobseekers remain responsible for accuracy, truthfulness, and the right to use submitted information.
10. AI limitations
AI Services may misunderstand context, omit important information, generate generic wording, overstate experience, or produce unsuitable suggestions. Eurojobs does not guarantee that AI output will improve hiring, applications, CV scores, rankings, visibility, or employment results.
11. EU AI Act awareness
Eurojobs aims to operate AI-assisted recruitment support responsibly and transparently. As the EU AI Act and related guidance become applicable in phases, Eurojobs may update policies, workflows, notices, logging, human review, or feature design where required.
12. Changes to AI Services
AI Services may change over time. We may add, remove, restrict, rename, pause, or modify AI-assisted tools where needed for safety, compliance, cost, quality, or platform integrity.
