LOVE CHEESE?Sheridans Cheesemongers are seeking a Retail Merchandiser to maintain and support our self-service retail locations across Dublin and the Leinster area.This role is ideal for someone who is organised, proactive, and takes pride in presentation and quality. The position involves ensuring our "Wall" retail sites are fully stocked, visually appealing, and compliant with food safety standards. A company vehicle is provided to facilitate travel between locations.Scope of the RoleThe Retail Merchandiser is responsible for the visual presentation, stock management, and operational upkeep of Sheridans Cheesemongers' retail display locations. Working across multiple sites, you'll ensure each display reflects our brand standards and provides an exceptional experience for customers.Key ResponsibilitiesCustomer Service & Brand RepresentationMaintain high visual and hygiene standards across all Sheridans Wall locations.Ensure displays are consistently well-stocked and presented to brand guidelines.Engage with customers when appropriate in a friendly and professional manner.Support product tastings or sampling initiatives as required.Operations & LogisticsTravel between Sheridans Wall sites daily using a company-provided vehicle.Hold a full, clean Irish driver's licence (essential).Monitor and manage stock levels through our online ordering system.Rotate products to maintain freshness and remove short-dated items.Redistribute stock between sites to minimise waste and support promotions.Carry out daily spot cleaning and weekly deep cleaning of chill and ambient areas.Adhere to HACCP procedures, including temperature checks, cleaning logs, and hygiene records.Communication & ReportingProvide regular operational updates to your line manager.Collaborate with cheesemongers, team leaders, and warehouse staff to ensure smooth stock flow and consistent presentation.Skills & AttributesStrong organisational skills and attention to detail.Capable of working independently and maintaining high standards across multiple sites.Friendly, professional, and customer-focused approach.Calm and efficient under pressure.Clear verbal and written communication skills.Qualifications & ExperienceMinimum 1 year's experience in retail or merchandising (desirable but not essential).Full, clean driver's licence (valid in Ireland).Understanding of HACCP/Food Safety procedures.Reliable, organised, and adaptable to a fast-paced retail environment.Available to work 5 out of 7 days, including weekends and evenings as required.
