We're recruiting for a Senior Accountant to join our office in Falkirk. The role would be ideal for someone who is looking to take the next step in their career and assume more responsibility for greater reward.The successful candidate will assume responsibility for a varied portfolio of clients and will join a supportive friendly team.As a Senior Accountant your role will involve: Being the primary point of contact for a portfolio of clientsThe preparation of statutory accounts, management accounts and various forecastsOverseeing VAT complianceProactively advising clients on the most appropriate in house software packagesAllocating work to and reviewing the work of junior members of the teamTaking on ad hoc analysis and project workDirect client contact will be a feature of the role so candidates should be comfortable with and enjoy this aspect of work.The Ideal Senior Accountant will have: Experience using IRIS, SAGE and Xero would be beneficial.Experience working in an Accountancy Practice Diversity & Inclusion at bk plusAt bk plus, inclusion and diversity are central to our values.
