Product Manager - Developer Tools

About Flexion: At Flexion, we're building the intelligence layer powering the next generation of humanoid robots. Our mission is to accelerate the transition from fragile prototypes to real-world deployment of humanoids. We are founded by leading scientists in robot reinforcement learning (ex-Nvidia, ex-ETH Zürich) and backed by leading international VC firms. Within a few months, we’ve gone from our first line of code to deploying real humanoid capabilities with our partners.The Role:This is not a slide-deck PM role. You'll join our product team and sit at the intersection of our infrastructure engineering team and our customers, owning the tools and interfaces that developers use to bring Flexion's AI software onto new robot platforms. You'll spend real time in our testing space with robots, travel to customer sites to understand integration pain points firsthand, and translate that into a tooling roadmap that accelerates every deployment.Your scope covers the full lifecycle: from initial SDK integration on a new customer platform, through development and testing workflows, to production debugging and maintenance tooling. You'll define what "great developer experience" looks like for engineers working with humanoid robots - a category where the playbook is still being written.Responsibilities:Own the product roadmap for Flexion's developer tooling - SDKs, APIs, CLI tools, GUIs, diagnostics, and integration frameworks.Work directly with customer engineering teams to deeply understand their integration workflows, hardware constraints, and pain points. Travel to customer sites regularly.Define requirements and acceptance criteria for tooling releases, working closely with Flexion's infrastructure and testing teams. Maintain a tight feedback loop between what ships and what customers actually need.Get hands-on with robots. Run integrations yourself, reproduce bugs, and validate that tooling works in real-world conditions.Drive the release process for developer-facing tools, including documentation, versioning, and changelog communication to customers.Monitor adoption and usage patterns across customers, using both quantitative signals and qualitative feedback to prioritise the backlog.Establish and maintain developer documentation, tutorials, and reference architectures that enable customer teams to self-serve wherever possible.Requirements4+ years of product management experience on developer-facing products (SDKs, APIs, developer platforms, or embedded tooling).Strong technical foundation - you can read and navigate a C++ codebase, work in a terminal, and hold your own in architecture discussions. Hands-on comfort with hardware. You've worked with robots, embedded systems, or other physical products where software meets the real world.Experience working with external developer communities or B2B technical customers, ideally in a context where you had to support integration into third-party hardware or platforms.Willingness to travel regularly to customer sites across Europe and beyond.Excellent written and verbal communication - you can write a clear API spec, a concise partner update, and a compelling roadmap narrative.Comfortable operating in an early-stage, fast-moving environment where scope is broad and ambiguity is the norm.Bonus: experience in robotics, computer vision, motion planning, or AI/ML deployment pipelines.BenefitsCompetitive compensation packageA front-row seat at one of Europe’s most ambitious robotics companiesAn energetic, collaborative team with a bias for action
