YOUR ROLE
To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Software Engineer to support a partner company based in Turin.
As part of the BSW/FW Development team at PUNCH Softronix, you will develop, configure, integrate, test, and release AUTOSAR Basic Software (BSW) for embedded automotive platforms and customer projects.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Configure, debug, test, and release AUTOSAR BSW components:
- CAN, CAN FD, LIN, J1939, Ethernet stacks
- Diagnostic, memory, crypto, ECU mode, HAL, and device driver services
- Configure RTOS environments based on software architecture and multicore requirements
- Configure microcontroller peripherals through MCAL
- Design Complex Device Drivers (CDD) for custom AUTOSAR functionalities
REQUIREMENTS
- Master’s degree in Electronics, Computer Science, or Software Engineering
- Strong C programming skills for embedded systems
- Good knowledge of Python
- Understanding of Classic AUTOSAR architecture, especially BSW
- Basic knowledge of RTOS for safety-critical systems
- Experience with automotive communication protocols:
- CAN/CAN FD, LIN, J1939, Ethernet
- UDS and XCP over CAN/Ethernet
- Experience with AUTOSAR tools such as ETAS ISOLAR and Vector DaVinci
- Good understanding of microcontroller architecture and communication buses (SPI, I2C, MSC)
- Ability to read hardware schematics and technical documentation
- Familiarity with debugging/testing tools (e.g. Trace32, CANoe)
- Fluent English and good teamwork skills
