At the beginning of your traineeship you’ll rotate between different projects and departments within your track. After your rotations you will choose your long‑term position based on your experience and area of interest.
Key Responsibilities- Work independently to execute standard tasks and, under guidance, handle complex ones.
- Combine tools and techniques to deliver optimal outcomes.
- Demonstrate creativity and innovation by elaborating solutions that reduce friction and optimize existing processes.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to develop, test and launch new product features.
- Recognize when additional information is required to identify or solve a problem and determine how to gather this input.
- Generate different solutions, weighing the pros and cons to identify the most suitable option.
- Produce well‑formed ideas that can provide effective alternative methods of working for self and the team.
Work within the Retail domain, closely collaborating with stakeholders from Marketing, Digital, Product, Finance and Risk. Gain high visibility on strategic growth initiatives and develop strong analytical, execution and stakeholder‑management skills in the Business Banking context.
Second 6‑Month RotationArrange and take initiative for this rotation, potentially gaining an international experience that enhances personal and professional development.
Third 6‑Month RotationAfter two rotations, decide whether to broaden knowledge within your track or explore an area in another track. This rotation sets the stage for your fixed position within the same Tribe or another role of interest within ING.
