The Junior HVACR Area Manager will be responsible for the sales of YORK chillers/absorbers and SABROE chillers/heatpumps within the assigned area together with a senior Area Manager, with the objective of maximizing sales in terms of volume, turnover and margin, increasing the commercial penetration and developing the assigned markets. The role will also include energy analysis and calculation of pay-back times to present high value solutions to customers and focus on large decarbonisation projects.

- Develop, communicate, and implement a comprehensive plan to grow the YORK/SABROE brand across the area
- Achieves the target for sales in the assigned area
- Deals directly with major customers within the assigned area
- Develops long-term customer relationships with contractors, consulting engineers and end-users
- Understands the customer base needs and works to align them with JCI products and services
- Seeks for York/Johnson Controls to become the preferred supplier of HVAC equipment of the assigned area
- Partners with other sales teams to maximize profit generation, influencing on specifications (end-users, consulting engineers) and managing pricing (contractors)
- Keeps up to date with products and competitors
- Reports sales figures
- Grows and updates regularly the pipeline
- Find new markets/industrial sectors for industrial heatpumps to boost decarbonisation.
- Previous experience within the HVACR industry with a special focus on chillers/heatpumps applications
- Strong experience in energy analysis and pay-back times
- Sales experience within the chiller/heatpump industrial market and a proven track record
- Technical knowledge to degree level or equivalent experience
- High level of creation of new accounts and opportunities
- Strong communicator with a proven track record of developing sales within a commercial environment.
- Excellency in verbal and written communication skills.
