Promoting Teamwork and close collaboration across the departments and our people. Team performance reviews and improvement, Planning and reacting to forecasted demand. Coach, develop and performance manage the team to deliver their goals and objectives. Ensure the wider team are well led, motivated and engaged to deliver best value and service for our customers.Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities: Continuous Improvement ProjectsBi weekly meetings with planning and recruitment on staffing availability and projections, in line with med/long term planning strategy.Daily review of production schedules and sign off on labour and cost targetsWeekly meetings with planning to review following week and monthly and quarterly production plans and ability to deliver In line with short term planning strategy.Work with project teams to bring new packing solutions as new productsDetermine costs of production including start up and change overs for new SKU formatsManage team leaders and team performanceCross functional involvement with packaging, goods in, supply chain, transport, planning, Involvement with planning on resourcing planning/skills matrix and training plansEnsure overall packhouse standards are maintained in accordance with site proceduresTo actively promote health & safety standards, engage in implementing health and safety protocols, and contribute to a risk-free work environment for all, playing a crucial role in mitigating workplace risks and promoting the well-being of all team members.Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Safety and performance of the site Production.Maintain a high standard of hygiene. Key Skills & Knowledge Essential: Capable of running a fast-paced productionExperienced in continuous improvement projects.A confident and analytical mind-set Ability to work under own initiative Highly motivate, enthusiastic, and flexible in their approach t other contribution Committed to continuous personal development Ability to motivate, persuade, and influence the teamWell organised individual with strong time management skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines.
