Job OverviewRole: Software / DevOps Engineer.
Work Location: Hybrid in Madrid (3 days at the office, 2 WFH). Open to relocation.
Key responsibilities include:
- Support multiple Agile Release Trains (ARTs) and product teams in onboarding to our internal DevOps platform and curated Azure services.
- Drive the re‑platforming/migration of applications to cloud infrastructure while ensuring adherence to enterprise standards, compliance controls, and secure‑by‑design principles.
- Drive the migration of CI/CD pipelines from Bitbucket/Jenkins to GitLab, ensuring alignment with platform standards and compliance requirements.
- Collaborate closely with development teams, educating and enabling them on DevOps practices, CI/CD automation, and cloud‑native development.
- Contribute to improving the developer experience by creating templates, documentation, and training materials that simplify platform adoption.
- Software engineer with profound hands‑on experience (5+ years) in application development (Java, .NET, Python, or similar).
- Practical experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and migrating between toolchains (Bitbucket/Jenkins → GitLab).
- Strong understanding of DevOps principles, Git workflows, and modern delivery practices.
- Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Azure services and Infrastructure‑as‑Code.
- Experience deploying containerized workloads and orchestration (Nexus, Helm, Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience working in air‑gapped or restricted enterprise environments, where all external dependencies must be consumed from internal registries.
- Cloud certifications (e.g., Azure DevOps Engineer Expert) are a strong advantage.
- Fluency in English.
- Experience working in agile environments (SAFe or similar) and collaborating across multiple teams.
