Business Analyst – Sales & Operations Planning – Process Manufacturing
Location: Madrid, Spain Languages Required: English and Spanish
We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst with strong domain expertise in Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) within Process Manufacturing industries. The ideal candidate should have 10+ years of experience working closely with manufacturing, supply chain, production, and operations teams, along with hands-on exposure to enterprise and plant-level systems. The candidate should possess strong functional knowledge across planning, production, procurement, customer operations, and manufacturing execution processes, with the ability to bridge business and IT stakeholders effectively.
Key Responsibilities
· Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements related to S&OP, production planning, and manufacturing operations.
· Collaborate with business stakeholders, plant operations teams, supply chain teams, and IT teams to design and improve operational processes.
· Create and manage EPICs, User Stories, process maps, and functional specifications.
· Support process optimization initiatives across planning, procurement, production scheduling, maintenance, and rework management.
· Work closely with enterprise application teams and plant system teams during implementation and enhancement initiatives.
· Coordinate functional testing, business validation, and user acceptance activities.
· Drive stakeholder management across operations, manufacturing, supply chain, and IT teams.
· Leverage AI tools and modern digital practices to improve analysis, documentation, reporting, and day-to-day project delivery activities.
· Continuously learn and adapt to new systems, technologies, and manufacturing best practices.
Required Skills & Experience
· 10+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in Process Manufacturing environments.
· Strong domain expertise in Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP).
· Hands-on experience with: Oracle E-Business Suite modules including PTP, CX, and Operations-related processes, Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), Maintenance Management Software used in manufacturing plants.
· Strong understanding of: Production scheduling, Capacity planning, Rework management, Procurement and customer operations processes, Plant and manufacturing operations.
· Experience in requirement gathering, EPIC/User Story creation, and stakeholder management.
· Experience in functional testing and solution validation.
· Strong analytical, communication, and coordination skills.
· Exposure to Agile delivery methodologies.
Preferred Experience
· Experience in dairy or other process manufacturing industries will be an added advantage.
· Exposure to supply chain optimization, shop floor automation, or Industry 4.0 initiatives is a plus.
