As a Chef de Partie at Roka, every dish
tells a story, and you’ll play a key role in crafting these unforgettable
experiences. With your skills, leadership, and passion for precision, you’ll
contribute to our reputation for excellence while inspiring and guiding junior
chefs to thrive in our dynamic kitchen. 

Roka is a contemporary Japanese robatayaki restaurant,
celebrated for its dynamic open-grill cooking and vibrant atmosphere. Located
in the Cap Vermell Grand Hotel, along the Balearic Island’s east coast, Roka
Mallorca offers diners a seasonal, alfresco pop-up of lazy summer evenings,
beautiful dishes, creative cocktails, and live DJs. Local ingredients are
featured in Roka’s signature robatayaki cuisine to create a menu that can’t be
experienced anywhere else.

Main Duties
Your key responsibilities will include:


  • Maintain
    mise en place levels to ensure a seamless flow during service, with a
    focus on quality, consistency, and presentation

  • Continue
    honing your craft to master all sections of the kitchen, expanding your
    expertise under the guidance of senior chefs

  • Check
    incoming goods for quality and accuracy, ensuring proper storage and
    actively monitoring to reduce waste

  • Conduct
    daily hygiene checks and ensure all storage areas and workstations are
    impeccably clean and organized

  • Prepare
    dishes according to recipes and oversee the work of junior team members to
    maintain Roka's exceptional standards

  • Support
    and train commis and demi chefs, fostering their growth and creating a
    collaborative, high-performing team
