The Opportunity


We are looking for a Senior Consultant with strong mixed-methods research skills to join our European Policy Evidence team. You will lead multidisciplinary assignments, integrating qualitative and quantitative approaches to generate rigorous insights that support evidence-based EU policymaking across multiple DGs.


Your Responsibilities


  • Lead and contribute to policy studies, evaluations, impact assessments, and foresight analyses for EU institutions.
  • Design and implement mixed-methods research frameworks for data gathering and analysis (including interviews, focus groups, surveys, econometric analysis, cost-benefit analysis, statistical modelling, survey analysis).
  • Manage project teams and ensure high-quality, timely delivery.
  • Communicate findings clearly to clients and stakeholders, translating complex data into actionable policy insights.
  • Support business development through proposal writing and client engagement.


What You Bring


  • At least 3 years of experience in EU policy consulting, academia, evaluation of public policies, think tanks or related fields.
  • Strong background in research methodology and design; ability to combine qualitative and quantitative methods end-to-end (with a quantitative focus, ideally on economics, statistics, data science, or a related discipline).
  • Proficiency in quantitative tools such as R, Python, Stata, or Excel-based modelling.
  • Solid understanding of EU institutions, policy processes, and funding mechanisms.
  • Excellent writing, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Fluency in English; other EU languages are a plus.
  • Familiarity and experience with the EU Better Regulation guidelines will be considered a plus.
