SEN Primary teaching assistant

Smile Education are recruiting for an SEN Teaching assistant to work in a Primary school in worcestershire. The school is rated ‘good’ in their latest Ofsted inspection and has a strong and welcoming atmosphere within the staff team. The SEN teaching assistant role would be working full time working Monday to Friday 8:30 to 3:30, this role would be starting immediately after half term and going into the new academic year. The Responsibilities of the SEN Teaching Assistant:Have a sole focus on working 1:1 Basis.Develop and concentrate on building a relationship with the child, staff and family members.Constant and consistent communication with the class teacher, regarding progress and potential methods of work.Create a secure and positive environment for the child to learn and feel comfortable.To apply for this SEN teaching assistant role, you will need:An up-to-date DBS on the update service or dated within the last 12 months.A teaching assistant qualification or health and social care (level 2 or 3).Experience working with SEN children on a 1:1 basis or small groups work.Experience working with Primary school children.At least 2 professional references covering the last 2 years of work history.The benefits of this SEN teaching assistant role:A daily rate of £93-£112.39 a dayPAYE and Umbrella payment optionsHoliday pay of 12.07%Free CPD training available via the smile portalReferral scheme up to £200Dedicated consultant working within your area.Smile Education is committed to safeguarding children.
