Job description

Kickstart your career in cloud engineering with Nebius through this 3-month Early Talent Program in Amsterdam. This opportunity is designed for students, recent graduates, and early career professionals who want to gain hands-on experience working with cloud technologies and real-world infrastructure supporting the global AI economy. As a Cloud Engineer, you will work closely with experienced engineers to develop and manage cloud-based solutions on Microsoft Azure. You will gain practical exposure to cloud environments, learning how modern infrastructure is deployed, configured, and maintained in production settings. This role provides a strong foundation in cloud engineering, DevOps practices, and infrastructure automation. Your responsibilities will include assisting in managing Azure environments and subscriptions, supporting infrastructure deployments using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates, and helping build and maintain CI/CD pipelines. You will also assist with configuring networking and access controls, monitor system health, and support cost optimization and resource management efforts. Additionally, you will collaborate with engineering teams on cloud-related tasks and maintain clear technical documentation. This role is ideal for candidates with basic experience or exposure to Microsoft Azure, whether through academic projects, internships, or early professional work. You should have a foundational understanding of cloud concepts such as compute, storage, and networking, as well as familiarity with Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD practices. Basic scripting skills in PowerShell, Bash, or Python and an understanding of identity and access management concepts are also valuable. During the program, you will deepen your knowledge of Azure services, including networking components like VNets and NSGs, compute resources such as virtual machines and containers, and storage services. You will also gain exposure to monitoring and logging tools like Azure Monitor and Log Analytics, while learning best practices in cloud security, governance, and cost control. Nebius is looking for motivated individuals who are eager to learn, collaborate, and grow in a fast-paced engineering environment. Interest in containers, Kubernetes, or cloud certifications such as AZ-900 is a plus, as is involvement in personal or open-source projects. Throughout the program, you will receive mentorship from experienced professionals in AI, machine learning, and cloud infrastructure. You will gain hands-on experience with real customer workloads and production systems, building valuable technical and professional skills. In addition to paid compensation, Nebius offers a collaborative and supportive work environment that values initiative, innovation, and continuous learning. High-performing participants may also be considered for a full-time role after completing the Early Talent Program. If you are passionate about cloud technologies, automation, and building scalable systems, this program offers an excellent opportunity to start your career in cloud engineering with real-world impact.
