Software Engineer

Position Overview:As a Software Engineer (Backend/Full stack) with Intapp, you will be working on the AI-powered, industry-specific cloud platform built to transform the way professional and financial services firms operate. You will work with senior engineers, technical leads, product managers and designers, providing ample opportunities for mentorship that offer the successful candidate pathways for skills development and career progression.You will be a part of a growing, innovative team and will work closely with the development and product management teams innovating to enhance our existing software and develop new products. Joining Intapp in Lisbon provides a unique opportunity to help shape the new flagship development center and contribute to high-impact projects in a thriving tech environment.What you will do:• Design and implement complex backend solutions using .NET, ASP.NET, and .NET Core, focusing on scalability, security, and maintainability in high-impact areas• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, contribute to system architecture discussions, and propose technical solutions• Develop scalable and reliable cloud-native applications on the Azure Cloud Platform, under the guidance of experienced engineers• Follow best practices for security, performance, and reliability in software development and cloud architecture• Write clean, well-structured code following established coding standards and practices• Participate in code reviews, absorb feedback, and continuously improve coding skills• Stay updated with emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in software development and cloud computing• Identify and proactively resolve technical challenges to continuously evolve how products are engineered at Intapp and prevent the occurrence of production incidentsWhat you will need:• Proven track record working with .NET technologies such as C# and ASP.NET (typically 4+ years of hands-on experience)• Prior experience architecting resilient systems leveraging microservices, CI/CD pipelines, and automated monitoring, with a focus on performance optimization• Advanced understanding of relational databases (e.g., SQL Server), with experience designing high-performance data architectures for cloud applications• Experience with Azure or other major cloud providers (AWS, Google Cloud)• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD automation tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git), with strong knowledge of containerization and orchestration• Exposure to front-end technologies, particularly React, and familiarity with NoSQL databases• Fluent in EnglishWhat you will gain at Intapp:Our culture at Intapp emphasizes accountability, responsibility, and growth.
