Key Responsibilities – Senior Data Scientist Operations Research Careers in Lisbon- Design, develop, and implement advanced operations research models and data science solutions to optimise business processes and drive strategic outcomes across multiple business units.
- Apply statistical analysis, mathematical modelling, machine learning, and simulation techniques to address real-world operational and logistical challenges.

- Master’s or PhD degree in Operations Research, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Engineering, or a closely related quantitative discipline.
- Significant professional experience (4+ years) as a Data Scientist, Operations Research Analyst, or a related analytics role within a complex environment.
- Expertise in operations research methods (e.g., optimisation, linear/nonlinear programming, network flows, simulation, stochastic modelling).
- Strong proficiency programming in Python, R, or similar languages, and using data science libraries (e.g., NumPy, Pandas, SciPy, scikit-learn, Gurobi, CPLEX, or PuLP).
- Experience with statistical analysis, machine learning techniques, and data visualisation tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or Matplotlib).
- Solid understanding of software engineering principles and working knowledge of version control tools (e.g., Git).
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organisational skills.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Portuguese is a plus but not required.
