Our Software Business Unit creates and develops innovative high-quality software for trip and train planning as well as mobile ticketing and comprehensive Mobility as a Service (MaaS) solutions.We share one common goal: improving the passenger experience with our combined power for the future of Mobility.We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to join our growing software engineering team in the TPS (Train Planning Systems) department. Key responsibilities: Lead, plan, and manage a TPS project in our product driven software development organization while working closely with the product management and development teams as well as with local Siemens entities in a complex matrix organization in an international environment. Take on the technical leadership of your project team. Develop project plans and status reports, ensuring efficient resource allocation and task distribution. Gather and evaluate customer requirements, translating them into effective software solutions. Collaborate with project members to define and coordinate technical requirements. Monitor project progress, maintaining a smooth flow of information and ensuring on-time deliveries to teams, customers, and partners. Present project results to project sponsors with clarity and confidence. Plan and manage the project-related costs and budget, keeping financial goals on track.We're looking for someone who has: A technical background and experience in managing complex IT projects ideally in an international environmentAt least 5 years of experience in managing of complex IT projects with product driven software development, ideally in the transportation sector. Independent, structured, and goal-oriented approach which enables you to work effectively in interdisciplinary teams, complemented by experience in customer projects. Strong communication skills make you a reliable point of contact for customers, partners, development teams, and company management.
