An Oxford based publishing company has asked Think Selection to find a Data Analyst to support reporting, business intelligence and data analysis across its finance and operational teams. This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded and analytically driven individual to support both the finance and wider business teams.
You’ll produce regular financial and operational reports using Excel and Power BI, helping improve data accessibility across the business. The role will also include developing and maintaining dashboards, supporting budgeting and forecasting activities, analysing financial and operational data, and identifying trends, risks and opportunities to support business performance and operational efficiency.
Working closely with finance and senior colleagues, you’ll also help improve reporting workflows, automate processes where possible and provide analysis to support wider business decision-making.
Candidates should have experience in financial analysis, reporting or data analytics, strong Excel and Power BI skills and the ability to interpret and present data clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Experience improving reporting processes, automating workflows or supporting operational efficiencies would also be advantageous.
You'll be based fom the Oxford offices during the week. Hybrid working, a competitive salary and benefits package are offered with the role.
