Technical Sales Manager – Solar & Energy Solutions - Central & Southern Italy


Overview:


Are you an electrically minded problem‑solver who enjoys being on site, supporting customers, and shaping the future of clean energy?


An ambitious and fast‑growing renewable energy technology business is expanding its footprint across Italy, following strong success in other European markets. Known for delivering high‑quality solar and energy solutions, this organisation partners closely with installers and distributors, helping them design, install, and optimise reliable PV systems for residential and commercial projects.


With a rapidly growing installer network, they are now looking to strengthen their technical sales presence across Central and Southern Italy.


The Role:


This is an excellent position for someone who combines electrical expertise with a strong customer mindset.


You will:


  • Act as the technical point of contact for installers, distributors, and partners
  • Visit customer sites to troubleshoot, advise, and solve technical issues
  • Support both Residential and C&I Solar PV projects
  • Deliver technical presentations and product training
  • Help build and strengthen installer relationships across the region


The role requires weekly travel, particularly during the first 6–12 months, as the business continues to expand its presence in Central and Southern Italy.


Candidates must be flexible and comfortable travelling weekly across Central and Southern regions.


What We’re Looking For:


  • Previous experience in a technical or technical sales role
  • Strong electrical background (solar PV experience highly preferred)
  • Confidence working hands‑on with installers and on customer sites
  • Solid understanding of solar systems and energy technology is a big plus
  • Existing relationships with installers, distributors, or EPCs in Central/Southern Italy is a strong advantage
