Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Data Architect to be included in a new team focused on the development of the company's DWH. In this context s/he should analyze, design and manage robust data architectures that support our advanced analytics and business intelligence solutions. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, reporting, data-mesh and, in general, cloud-based data platforms.
Key Responsibilities- Design and implement scalable data architectures to support business analytics and reporting needs.
- Develop and maintain data models, schemas, and data pipelines.
- Collaborate with data engineers and stakeholders to optimize data pipelines and ETL processes.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all data systems.
- Evaluate and integrate new data technologies and tools to enhance our data infrastructure.
- Provide guidance and best practices for data management and governance.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Monitor and optimize database performance to ensure efficient data retrieval and processing.
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in data architecture, data modeling, and database design.
- Strong expertise in SQL, python, spark.
- Experience with cloud-based data platforms, in particular Microsoft Azure.
- Proficiency in ETL tools, orchestration, data integration technologies.
- Solid understanding of data warehousing and data processing technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with data governance and data quality frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
