We are reimagining how the world buys and sells jewellery. Our global marketplace connects retailers and suppliers across diamonds, gemstones, and finished jewellery – already powering over $300M in annual transactions and scaling fast toward our billion‑dollar vision.
Our MissionInspired by the inefficiency of diamond trading, we created a solution to help businesses, regardless of size or location, increase sales and margins while removing operational burdens.
The Engineering & RevOps TeamOur Engineering and RevOps teams lie at the heart of everything we build. We move fast, take ownership, and obsess over scalable systems that enable our commercial teams to fly. Remote‑first and globally distributed, we value directness, low ego, and big impact.
About the RoleAs a Salesforce Developer, you will own back‑end development and scaling of our Salesforce platform. Mid‑migration from HubSpot to Salesforce, you’ll deliver high‑priority integrations, build a solid foundation, and partner with RevOps and data engineering to make Salesforce the backbone of our commercial operations.
What You’ll Be DoingPlatform Development & Customisation
Own back‑end Salesforce development: Write Apex code (classes, triggers, controllers) and manage complex Flows and process automation across all Salesforce clouds.
Design custom UI components: Build Lightning Web Components (LWC) for bespoke interfaces that improve team efficiency beyond standard page layouts.
Manage technical debt: Perform code reviews and refactor legacy Apex or redundant Flows to stay within Salesforce governor limits and maintain performance.
Manage platform quality: Lead QA testing, debugging, and bug fixing to maintain a stable, error‑free environment.
Integrations & Data Architecture
Lead the Shopify integration: Own end‑to‑end synchronization of Shopify data and invoices into Salesforce before the mid‑May launch.
Snowflake collaboration: Work with Senior Data Engineer to manage data streams between Snowflake and Salesforce, architecting for large data volumes.
Enable advanced reporting: Pull revenue and order statistics from Snowflake into Salesforce for real‑time dashboards and leadership reporting.
System monitoring: Build logging and alerting frameworks for external APIs to catch and resolve sync failures before impact.
Strategic RevOps & Scaling
Scale with RevOps: Work in agile sprints to manage custom objects and schema changes across Sales Cloud and Marketing Cloud.
Standardise core processes: Implement global value sets, standardised pipeline stages, and automated lead tagging linked to marketing channels.
Identify improvements: Audit Salesforce setup to find gaps and propose architectural improvements proactively.
DevOps & Governance: Establish Git version control and CI/CD pipelines for safe, audited releases.
Internal Leadership & Knowledge
Transition from Agency: Act as the primary internal expert to move the platform away from the current outsourced agency.
Comprehensive Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, data dictionaries, and architectural diagrams for maintainability and smooth handovers.
Internal Advisory: Serve as the internal architect advising on build‑vs‑buy decisions regarding third‑party AppExchange tools and middleware.
Salesforce Developer Certification (essential): Platform Developer I or II.
Advanced Apex & LWC Skills: Write clean, efficient, well‑documented code and build custom LWC components.
Integration & Data Expertise: Solid SQL skills and a proven track record of REST/SOAP API integrations (e.g., Shopify, Snowflake).
3‑5 years of Salesforce Development experience: In a fast‑paced, scaling environment managing the full development lifecycle.
Architectural Thinking: Experience managing large data volumes and designing scalable data schemas across Sales and Marketing Clouds.
Independent & Proactive: Set priorities, manage stakeholders, and ship high‑quality work without hand‑holding.
Documentation First: Strong documentation habits; code is not finished until technical docs are updated.
Nice to Have
Experience in E‑commerce or SaaS: Familiarity with order management and subscription billing.
DevOps Experience: Exposure to Git and CI/CD tools such as Copado, Gearset, or GitHub Actions.
Series A–D Company Background: Helped a company evolve from startup to mature, enterprise‑grade Salesforce instance.
Data Warehouse Proficiency: Hands‑on experience syncing large datasets into CRM systems.
Leadership Ambition: Interest in building and leading a small internal Salesforce team as the company grows.
