Job description
THE BRIDGE S.p.A. SALES ASSISTANT_Bologna Salary: **Negotiable** Reports to: Sales Manager Type of Contract: Part-Time 30h Main duties: To provide consistent and exceptional standard of customer service in the store. The Role: To maximize sales for the store; To develop enduring relationships with clients; To provide product, promotion, and pricing information by clarifying customer request; To approach customers and offer them advice and support on product to persuade them to buy; To manage promotional allowance, rebate, and pricing discrepancies by researching promotion details and regular and special prices; To understand and be able to advise customers on smart professional dress and appearance; To resolve order and inventory problems by investigating data and history; To handle returns of merchandise; To maintain a clean and orderly environment in the store at the highest standard; To support the team on the general operations of the “The Bridge” store; To arrange merchandise on shelves according to popularity and other criteria; To operate cash registers and close daily revenues; To maintain customer database by inputting customer profile and updates; To go the “extra mile” to meet targets. The Candidate: Fluency in English (written & spoken) is strongly desired and Chinese appreciated; Retail or service industry experience; Great customer service and people skills; Ability to communicate and inspire customers & store colleagues; Good standard of numeracy and problem solving; Ability to work towards goals; Strong organizational skills; Dynamic and creative.
