About the Company

Our client is a fast‑growing Milan‑based tech scale‑up developing one of Europe’s most advanced SaaS platforms for electronic invoicing management. Their technology simplifies compliance, automation, and real‑time data flows for enterprise finance teams -touching areas such as FinTech, financial services, fiscal digitisation, and open banking integrations.


Following rapid expansion in Italy, they are now launching operations across Europe and are hiring their first Business Development Manager for the German market.


This is a rare opportunity to join a highly innovative company at a strategic moment and shape the commercial footprint of a new market.


Location: Milan – Hybrid

Contract: Full‑time / permanent


The Role

As Business Development Manager, you will own the end‑to‑end sales cycle for enterprise clients in your native market (Germany).

You will identify prospects, run consultative sales conversations, lead demos, negotiate contracts, and contribute to building the local go‑to‑market strategy.

This is a high‑impact role where your work will directly influence international expansion.


What You Will Do

  • Lead the full sales cycle: prospecting, qualification, demos, solution proposal, negotiation, and closing.
  • Develop and execute a targeted sales strategy for the French or German enterprise market.
  • Build strong relationships with senior decision‑makers in finance, operations, procurement, and compliance.
  • Partneship activation
  • Collaborate with product and marketing to adapt messaging for local needs.
  • Represent the company at industry events and online channels within the FinTech and financial‑compliance ecosystem.


Requirements

  • Native German speaker is a must
  • Based in or willing to relocate to Milan.
  • 3+ years of experience as a Business Development Manager, Account Executive, or similar (full‑cycle ownership is essential)
  • Strong background in FinTech, financial services, SaaS, electronic invoicing, or open banking.
  • Proven track record of closing enterprise‑level deals.
  • Comfortable in a fast‑scaling start-up environment where autonomy and initiative are key.
