Our client is an international company operating in the industrial sector, with a strong focus on quality, efficiency, and long-term customer relationships. Due to continued growth, the company is looking for an Accounting & Administrative Assistant with English to join its team in Valencia.
Role OverviewThe Accounting & Administrative Assistant will support the finance and administration department in daily accounting tasks, invoice management, documentation, and administrative coordination.
This is a suitable role for someone with some experience in accounting or administration who is organized, detail-oriented, and willing to continue developing professionally within an international industrial environment.
Key Responsibilities- Support day-to-day accounting and administrative activities.
- Register, review, and file supplier and customer invoices.
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Support payment follow-up and invoice reconciliation.
- Maintain accounting records and documentation updated.
- Assist with bank reconciliations and expense control.
- Support monthly closing activities under the supervision of the finance team.
- Prepare basic reports and administrative documentation.
- Coordinate with internal departments to collect and verify financial information.
- Communicate with suppliers, customers, and internal teams in Spanish and English when needed.
- Support general office administration tasks related to the finance department.
- Previous experience in accounting, finance administration, back office, or administrative support.
- Basic to intermediate accounting knowledge.
- Good level of English, both written and spoken.
- Spanish fluency required.
- Experience in an industrial, manufacturing, logistics, chemical, plastics, packaging, machinery, or technical environment will be valued.
- Good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel.
- Experience using ERP or accounting software will be a plus.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and responsible person.
- Ability to work with numbers, documentation, and internal processes.
- Willingness to learn and grow within the finance area.
- Vocational training, degree, or studies related to Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or similar.
- Experience with invoice processing, payments, collections, or administrative accounting.
- Knowledge of another European language.
- Previous experience in an international company.
