As we continue to grow, we are excited to welcome a new team member for the following position:Business Development Manager (BDM) – Mobile Communication**Business growth*** Develop new customers and new applications* Convert competitor accounts* Drive CAPEX and project-based opportunities* Build and execute territory & account development plans**Account management*** Manage selected strategic customers end-to-end* Engage technical, purchasing and management levels* Coordinate internal teams (sales, technical support, product management)**Channel development*** Build business plans with selected partners* Enable partners through joint visits, training and opportunity development* Increase brand presence via channel ecosystem**Solution selling*** Promote the full Mobile Communication portfolio: rugged & ATEX smartphones/tablets, peripherals, accessories, software & connectivity solutions.* Focus on value and solutions, not only products**Sales operations*** Maintain accurate CRM (Siebel) pipeline and forecasts* Report on opportunities, risks and market trends* Plan and execute local sales & marketing activities**Who will succeed in this role*** Strong ownership mentality* Proactive, opportunity-driven* Curious and fast learner (technology & customers)* Resilient in long sales cycles* Customer-first mindset* Structured in follow-up and CRM usage* Honest, humble, team-oriented**Experience (flexible)*** B2B sales / business development / technical sales experience preferred* Background in industrial, automation, telecom, IT or ATEX markets is a plus* High-potential young professionals with strong motivation are welcome**Skills*** Clear communication (technical & commercial)* Ability to build trust with engineers and decision makers* Comfortable working independently in the field* Languages: Italian (mandatory), English (working proficiency)Grow Pepperl+Fuchs’ Mobile Communication business in Italy by developing existing customers and winning new projects. The role will contribute to strengthening the company’s position as a reference partner for industrial and ATEX mobile solutions, working closely with end users, EPCs and channel partners to create long-term value.
