Fund Risk - Senior Associate

Dublin (Hybrid) | €55,000 p/a + Benefits | Permanent (Full-Time)

Our client, a growing investment management and fund services firm with multi-billion AUM, is expanding following a recent international merger!

The successful candidate will support the Head of Fund Risk in overseeing risk management across a range of funds, ensuring regulatory compliance and robust risk controls. This is a hands-on role involving regular interaction with investment managers and key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

* Perform daily fund risk and UCITS checks
* Monitor VaR and manage investment breaches
* Conduct liquidity analysis
* Produce monthly/quarterly risk reports
* Attend investment manager meetings
* Run OTC valuation checks
* Support delegate due diligence and onboarding
* Manage regulatory filings

Requirements

* 3–5 years’ experience in risk, investment, or financial services
* Strong analytical skills and Excel proficiency
* Understanding of VaR and financial markets
* Clear written communication skills

Desirable: UCITS knowledge, investment limit monitoring, experience with fund managers, and basic data tools (e.g. VBA, Power BI, Python, SQL)
